Welcome to Almora Loft.
Our stylish self-contained accommodation is the perfect solution for your Blue Mountains escape. Beautifully furnished with French fabrics, prints, bedding, and a modern kitchen, Almora Loft provides every comfort for your stay. Your own entrance offers complete privacy.
The loft accommodation runs the full length of our double garage. On the upper level there is a queen bed, wardrobe, comfortable lounge area, gas log fire, split system air conditioning, smart TV, modern bathroom and single bed. Glazed doors lead to the balcony where you can relax overlooking the garden and soak in sweeping views over four fairways of Wentworth Falls Country Club.
On the lower level there is a fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs for three guests. A heater is provided for those chilly nights. A staircase links the two areas. This is not particularly wide, and would be difficult to negotiate with large suitcases.

Enjoy a game of golf at Wentworth Falls Country Club. If you are looking for a golfing holiday, you could include a game at Leura, with its spectacular views over the Jamison Valley, and beautiful Blackheath, both within a fifteen-minute drive.

Almora Loft is located in the heart of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, just a 90-minute drive from the centre of Sydney. Suggestions for your stay include Echo Point, the Three Sisters, Scenic World, Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Garden, Norman Lindsay Gallery, Everglades, Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and Mt Wilson. And there are endless bushwalks to explore.

The village of Wentworth Falls is just a few minutes away by car, and it is only a ten-minute drive to Leura or Katoomba. Take advantage of all the Mountains have to offer: sightseeing, wonderful spring and autumn gardens, shops, cafes and restaurants, or just browsing in the local villages.

"Absolutely loved my week long stay in Almora Loft. Beautifully styled, private, comfortable and clean. The perfect base for a week of hiking and exploring the Blue Mountains. Instantly felt at home and loved knowing I had this space waiting for me at the end of a long hike. Kitchen has everything you need but also many local options to try. Very comfy bed and couch, lovely soft towels and efficient air con/heating. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and I look forward to returning again in the future. Jenny and Peter are exceptional hosts. Very friendly, welcoming and responsive. Excellent communication and some lovely tips of local attractions to visit. Meet Your Hosts
Hi, I'm Jenny and my husband Peter and I welcome you to Almora Loft.
My background includes working for a newspaper in Auckland and for an airline in Sydney. Peter has worked on major construction projects in the Northern Territory, Fiji and Sydney. In later years he has been involved in residential building and also likes to turn his hand to building furniture.
We moved from Sydney's Northern Beaches to the Blue Mountains in 2000 and love living here. During much of that time we ran a B&B, "Naini Tal", named after a beautiful Indian hill station in the foothills of the Himalayas, where Peter was born. Many people associated with that town have reached out to make contact and share stories: it has been a very special connection.
After making major changes to our present home, Almora Cottage became a holiday home. We loved it so much we decided to move here, and from there Almora Loft evolved.
We enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and from all corners of the world. Some of our favourite destinations include France, Turkey and Thailand, and during our travels we have gathered some beautiful fabrics, prints and bedding from those places. And of course we have met some wonderful people along the way. We hope that bringing these things together will help us to create a welcoming, comfortable and peaceful space where our guests can relax and use our loft as a base to explore the local area. We look forward to welcoming you to Almora Loft.
